I bought this bookcase because of its looks and because of its thin profile to fit in a certain space. It is beautiful and I have had many compliments on it. It provides a lot of storage in a slim space.

Much too narrow of shelves to be useful. At the time, the item description didn't contain the shelf width. Since the bookcase was labeled "Large" I assumed they would be big enough for textbooks, etc. This was not the "case", so to speak.

However, the case is stylish. The wood color is nice and dark and the rattan panels are a nice, textural contrast.

I use the shelves to store small books.
I love the color and the style they go great with the woodwork in my living room. The only problem I have had is that one of the bookshelves seems to be separating on the left side and as a result the shelves are bending.

Thought I would be able to put my books on it but it is not sturdy enough. It is good looking piece for decor but not practical for books.
