Not as tall as it looked, but it works for my 7yr old to reach and organize her things on the shelves. It needs to be mounted to a wall though, since it is on carpet so it won't fall over. Not the greatest of wood, but it works for young kids rooms.

The product description did not have the dimensions, much smaller than I expected.

This product looks so great in my daughters study room. The colors are bright and give a nice touch[...]It was very easy to put together.We're using it to store/display DVDs.It's not as sturdy as expected, but it works and serves its purpose. No regrets.

This is PERFECT in my 3 year old's room! Needed a solution to toys being in a pile in the corner - toys all fit very well in the various drawers, and all her books fit on the top shelf. It's not super tall either so she can reach almost everything. A few taller books don't fit - but it's a CHILD'S bookshelf so we expected it. Stacked them sideways :-)
